Hale Community Centre has done amazing work for several years and has set up some much needed and much appreciated new community services during the pandemic – Community Fridge & Cupboard, Swap Shop, Pop-up Café and Space2Breathe. These services are only possible with the help of our team of volunteers!
Hale Community Centre will be celebrating the diversity our volunteers give to our work within the community and thanking them for all their time and dedication during this year’s Volunteers’ Week, which runs from 1-7 June.
Volunteers, Trustees and Management will come together on the 4th June for a celebratory lunch at the Centre, to showcase and appreciate the commitment our volunteers enthusiastically give to our various community services.
Charities across the UK will also be holding events to thank their volunteers and celebrate the power of volunteering. Last year there were over 600 events across the country, from award ceremonies to tea parties and barbecues.
If you would like more information on any of the projects at Hale Community Centre or are able to volunteer, please contact Cathy on 07471 180958 or by email at halecommunitycentre@gmail.com
