Volunteers' Week... a time to say thanks!

The first week in June is National Volunteer Week and a very good time to pay tribute to the numerous volunteers involved in supporting all the different activities we offer at the Community Centre.
.
We have over 30 volunteers working to keep the Community Fridge open for everyone, collecting food from supermarkets, running Stay and Play, cooking, crafting, gardening, working with young people and helping people find employment. I also want to thank those paid members of staff who all offer their own time above and beyond their hours. These are the behind the scenes people who keep the Centre open and meeting the needs of the local community.
.
I'm sure every person who has accessed support and activities at the Centre would like to join me in thanking each and every one of these people who are regularly giving up their own free time and energy to ensure we keep serving the community.
I'm very appreciative of the hard work and support of every one of these committed and hard working people. I couldn't do my job without them.
.
