We’ve been overwhelmed by the kind messages that have come in following Saturday night’s (6th June) Hart Male Voice Choir Concert - and we couldn’t resist sharing a few highlights alongside some of our favourite photos from the evening.
It was, in the words of many who attended, “a truly wonderful evening.” We were taken on a wandering journey with music from around the world. Wonderful and entertaining soloists, together with a violin piece performed beautifully by Emily Hinchcliffe who is also the choir's musical director filled a glorious programme.
Simon Porter (Trustee) hosted with warmth and ease, every musician delivered something special, and our very own 'Sing for Joy' group shone with confidence and joy. The mutual support within the choir was clear to everyone in the room - “so heartwarming,” as one guest put it.
Several people also shared just how enjoyable the whole event felt - “immensely enjoyable” was a phrase that came up more than once.
And while the music took centre stage, we want to shine a light on the people working tirelessly behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our own Melissa and Claire, who managed the drinks, raffle and clear‑up with incredible energy and commitment. Their hard work made the evening run smoothly, and we are deeply grateful.
It was a night full of joy, community spirit and shared purpose - thank you to the choir chairman Eamonn and his team for all the logistics and organisation to ensure we had a wonderful musical evening!
