At the Hale Community Centre, we are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a passionate, dedicated community. Every so often, we receive a level of support that truly transforms what we do - and over the past year, we have been fortunate enough to experience exactly that.

We want to extend our deepest, most sincere gratitude to George and Jacoba for being such wonderful advocates and supporters of the Hale Community Centre, the Hale Youth Centre, and the Sandy Stars Football Group.

Being chosen as the Mayor and Mayoress’s Charity of the Year was  an absolute honor. Throughout their tenure, George and Jacoba haven't just championed our cause from afar - they have truly immersed themselves in our community. From supporting our youth initiatives to cheering on the Sandy Stars Football Group, we have felt the love, energy, and dedication they brought to every single event and milestone.
