Hale Community and Youth Centre is entering an exciting new chapter - and we’re looking for the right person to help lead it. As many of you know, the Centre is a much-loved part of our community. Every week, people of all ages come through our doors to take part in activities, access support, volunteer, meet friends, or simply enjoy a welcoming space.
Our Youth Centre, in particular, is a flagship part of who we are - a safe, supportive and engaging place for young people, and a cornerstone of our community impact.
We are now recruiting a Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the Centre and help shape its future. This is a varied, hands-on leadership role with real purpose and plenty of opportunity to make a difference.
The Centre Manager will:
- Support and lead our staff, contractors and volunteers
- Ensure the Centre runs safely and smoothly
- Build strong relationships with partners, families and the wider community
- Lead fundraising, income generation and marketing
- Support the delivery of high-quality projects and youth provision
- Promote the Centre’s visibility and impact
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, compassionate and community-minded - someone who enjoys working with people and is motivated by helping others thrive.
