Newsletter - November 23

Thanks to incredibly generous funding from the Deputy Mayor’s Fund the youth team were able to take 12 young people (mostly from our ‘Senior Girlz Club’) on a fabulous day out at Thorpe Park. With mini buses kindly supplied by Frensham Heights we set off in the early (for teenagers!) hours of the morning to experience ‘Fright Night’. We screamed, we got scared, we queued for what seemed an eternity… But we had such an amazing day, young people were very grateful for the experience and it was great to see them come out of their comfort zones. It was also wonderful to be able to get away somewhere different for the day and we are extremely thankful that we were given this opportunity.
