Boost Your Confidence and Strength: With Our Gentle Exercise Classes

Dec - Gentle Exercise

Are you looking to improve your mobility, feel steadier on your feet, or simply get moving again in a friendly environment? We are excited to announce our Gentle Strength & Stability Exercise Classes, restarted on the 6th January!

Whether you’re recovering from a sedentary period or just want to maintain your independence, these sessions are designed specifically to help you re-gain confidence in your movement.

What to Expect

Our classes are low-impact and focused on three key areas: Stability, Flexibility, and Muscle Strength. We provide a supportive space where you can work at your own pace alongside others in the community. Plus, there are refreshments available in the training room so you can stay hydrated and socialise!

When and Where?

Classes take place every Tuesday at the Hale Community Centre. To make it convenient for everyone, we offer three different time slots:

Session Time Focus
Class 1 1:00pm – 1:45pm Strength & Stability
Class 2 2:00pm – 2:45pm Strength & Stability
Class 3 3:00pm – 3:45pm Strength & Stability

Is this class right for me?

These sessions are suitable for complete beginners. To participate safely, you should be:

  • Able to mobilize independently (with or without a walking aid/stick).

  • Able to stand from a chair with minimal support (carers are more than welcome to attend!).

  • Able to stand for short periods.
