Hale Community and Youth Centre values our connection with the community, whether they are regular newsletter readers or someone who enjoys our activities. To help us build an even stronger community, we'd love to hear your feedback on how we can improve your experience. What would make our activities more enjoyable or better meet your needs? Your input is essential as we strive to create something truly special together.
Funding our activities is increasingly challenging. While our staff and volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds, reductions in support from our local authorities have placed greater pressure on other funding sources, such as grant-making trusts.
Did you know that we are a not for profit organisation?
Over the last two years we have worked hard to provide a safe and welcoming space that supports the community as it navigates its way through the changes we have all gone through to our normal lives and routines. We do not receive regular funding from the local councils and have to raise income from renting our rooms and from donations and project work in order to keep the Centre open to all. The operational costs to be covered by the Charity are £1,000 per week.
Are you interested in becoming a friend of Hale Community and Youth Centre?
Our community engagement and youth work programmes, vital to our success in supporting the community, face a funding shortfall in the coming financial year. To ensure these critical activities continue, we are hoping at least some of you will become a key member of our team by offering regular financial support. Even a small contribution of £1 a month can make a significant difference.
The Government website publishes information on the Gift Aid Relief scheme, which provides individuals with tax relief on charitable donations. The details can be found here.
Are you able to support our activities as a volunteer or are you already involved in an organisation that could offer free sessions?
